Jan Lindhe, Tomas Albrektsson and Christoph Hämmerle constitute the Scientific Committee Steering Group. They are accompanied by the members of the Scientific Committee – Denis Cecchinato, Kerstin Gröndahl, Stefan Haßfeld, Rhonda Jacob, Hans-Christoph Lauer, Gert J. Meijer, Masahiko Nikaido, Richard Palmer, Pascal Valentini, and Homa Zadeh. Together they will play an important role in the development of the scientific program.
The Scientific Award Committee consists of three world-renowned implant dentistry professionals, namely Lyndon Cooper, Michael Norton, and Clark Stanford. They will select a winner, who has made a significant contribution to dental implant-related research.
The third Astra Tech World Congress will take place May 9-12, 2012, and will feature an inspirational three-day scientific program with over 100 world-renowned lecturers, complemented by workshops and product demonstrations. The delegates will also get to know Gothenburg, the city by the sea on the west coast of Sweden, renowned for its natural beauty and picturesque surroundings.
