The Swedish medical device company Astra Tech, a subsidiary of AstraZeneca, continues expanding on the dental implant market by acquiring its Japanese distributor, Denics International Co. Ltd., with revenues of USD 30 million in 2006.

Das Unternehmen, das 1996 gegründet wurde, konnte sich positiv entwicklen und ist mit einem Marktanteil von etwa 40% im Segment der indviduell adaptierten Abutments heute ein führender Produzent in den Vereinigten Staaten.
